Those places are familiar to us all; they include the magnificent temples of India, the churches of Jerusalem, and the mosques of Mecca and Madina. Even the Stonehenge, Machu Picchu and the Pyramids are nothing but structures that have been constructed at certain spots that have been cognized to have certain special potencies with reference to Human welfare. Such places which have been identified to have special significance to humans have been revered as sacred places. They are found across the globe in the form of sacred rivers, mountains, healing springs, forest grooves and places of mythological interest where divine revelations were witnessed.
Ancient legends and even the hard core scientific minds tell of “bizarre” experiences that people have had while at these sacred places. While classical physics of the recent past couldn’t explain these apparently “bizarre” phenomenons, the latest developments in physics such as Quantum field theory have brought us to the door step of true understanding of our selves in the cosmos. Scientists and the common man at the level of Classical Physics can seldom imagine the magnitude of importance of such places and therefore disregard and ignore the miraculous phenomena which keep occurring at the holy places. These phenomena were not uniform to all. These apparent discrepancies lead to disbelief among the unlucky many who were not the beneficiaries of thecosmic stuff.
To the enlightened and humble soul, the founding myths of the sacred spots are nothing but coded secrets of Physiological realities revealing the true character, utility or importance of particular places that aided ultimately in the transformation of human consciousness.

Most of the intellectuals, educated in modern science, would certainly include themselves among the majority, who at times do wonder at the teeming masses in the major temples of India and at other sacred pilgrim sites the world over, competing for and content with even a split second view of the deity or the sacred object, never mind the ever spiraling congested queues, be it in the wee hours of winter or in the noon of a scorching summer.

Dr. Sathesh’s (aka Vecram Addithyen's) research work can be understood when one has had the opportunity to know of the path breaking discovery, that the Human Physiology is an expression of Veda and Vedic Literature by Prof. Tony Nader M.D., Ph.D., under the guidance of His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi.

He adds on that India has been known as the land of Vedas, not alone for its traditional role in preserving the Vedas by the chanting Vedic pundits, but primarily for the fact that its geography, as Maharishiji’s Quote indicates, has been etched out by the very same cosmic forces, whose impulses forms the human Physiology too.
When the above mentioned facts are viewed in the context of the recent discovery of the UNIFIED FIELD by Modern Science as the basis of all laws of nature, it could be conjectured that holy pilgrimage centers with temples are situated in “Active Spots” where tremendous cosmic forces are at play since eternity, whose structuring intelligence forms and operates the corresponding centers in our nervous system. In common terminology the word “grace” has been used to denote the enlivening aspect of the cosmic forces, which has been radiating life supporting qualities and nourishing the physiology of individuals, coming with in its vicinity.
Of particular significance is Prof. Tony Nader’s observation in his work, which states that reading particular sections of Veda & Vedic literature could enliven the corresponding parts in our Physiology.
